Big Buck Bunny tells the story of a giant rabbit with a heart bigger  
than himself. When one sunny day the local forest bullies rudely harass  
him, something snaps... and the rabbit ain't no bunny anymore! In the  
typical cartoon tradition he prepares the nasty rodents a comical  
revenge.
 
This ten minute 3D animation has been created with as intention to  
stimulate the development of the open source 3D software 'Blender'. The  
movie itself - including all materials as used in the studio - is open  
and free for everybody to reuse, to learn from, or just to enjoy. 
 
On the DVD you find the movie, commentary tracks, interviews with the  
creators, out-takes, deleted scenes, and a 4-split version showing all  
stages from storyboard to final.
If browsed using a computer you find not only all of the files used to  
create this movie, but also the HD version, original artwork, test  
renders, lots of videos, the original script and breakdown, and many  
more goodies.
 
Feature: 10 minutes, 5.1 Surround sound, wide-screen 16:9 anamorphic
